放射線科医の慢性的な不足状況と高度画像診断機器の急速な普及に伴い、遠隔読影の活用は病院の規模に関わらず画像診断の一手段として定着している。当院においても院内の読影で賄えないものや専門性が求められるような特定の検査の画像診断に遠隔読影を利用している。本稿では当院の運用現状を紹介するとともに運用経験から得た遠隔画像診断の利点と課題について紹介する。
