遠隔画像診断の技術は確立したが、医療における位置付けは不明瞭で制度や法的整備が追いついていない。遠隔画像診断が医療の質を向上するツールとして健全に発展するためには、遠隔画像診断の「ありかた」について議論し、それに則った制度設計、関係省庁への働きかけや法的整備などを一歩ずつ進めていく必要がある。
Although the technology of teleradiology has been established, the positioning in medical systems is unclear and organizations and legal systems have not caught up. In order for the teleradiology to develop soundly as a tool for improving the quality of medical care, we need to discuss "ideal situation" of teleradiology, design systems according to it, and encourage relevant government agencies and legislation step by step.
