超音波は、高分解能でかつペネトレーション(深いところへの到達度)の良い画像を得られるようになってきた。それによって、これまで明瞭に見ることのできなかった乳管内進展や微細な血流信号の立体構築、乳房全体の正常解剖が、日常診療で簡単に観察できる可能性がでてきた。有効なベットサイド診断ツールとして、今後もますますの進歩が期待される。

　The ultrasonic image has evolved into a high resolution and high penetration image. Until now, the spread within the breast duct, threedimensional form of the fine blood flow signal, and the normal br east anatomy of the whole breast could not be clearly seen. However, from now on, there is the possibility of being able to easily observ e them by routine examination. As an effective bed side diagnostic tool, progress is highly expected.
