内容紹介
近年、PACSが持つべきコンセプトとしてVendor Neutral Archive(以下、VNA)という考え方が広まりつつあり、医用画像管理においても大きな変化が生じようとしている。実際のVNA導入にあたりどのような効果が期待できるのか、また、どのような課題があるのかを述べる。また、現状のVNAの課題を補うOpen Connect Data Base(以下、公開DB)を構築したので、その導入の経緯、仕組みやメリットを述べる。
This report describes what kind of benefits can be expected by implementation of VNA, which is becoming a big flow in medical image management, and what kind of issues are there. And since “Open Connect Data Base (OCDB)" that supplements the issues of the current VNA has been implemented, the background of implementation, the mechanism and the merits of OCDB are also described.
