T1、T2 mappingでは心筋性状を定量的に評価することができる。心筋の局所の線維化、瘢痕を同定する遅延造影とは異なり、非虚血性心疾患などのびまん性心筋障害もその程度を評価することができ、鋭敏な心筋障害の指標になりうる。一方で、得られる定量値を適切に理解、評価するためにはその撮像原理や、値に影響しうる様々な要因を知っておく必要がある。
Myocardial T1 and T2 mapping enable to quantify not only focal lesion, but also diffuse myocardial changes such as edema and fibrosis. These techniques can be sensitive tools to detect myocardial pathophysiological changes in both ischemic and non-ischemic heart diseases. However, these values change depending on various factors such as hardware, acquisition parameters, patient’s conditions and postprocessing, etc. The basic principles of acquisition technique and how to evaluate and interpret these quantitative mapping in myocardial tissue will be demonstrated.
