A multidisciplinary approach has been state-of-art in the treatment of advanced head and neck cancer. With the recent development of anti-cancer drug, the importance and role of chemotherapy in multidisciplinary treatment is increasing. In this article, we outline the evidence of induction chemotherapy and palliative chemotherapy for advanced head and neck cancer except in areas of chemoradiotherapy and immuno-checkpoint inhibitors.
要旨
進行頭頸部癌の治療においては集学的アプローチが必要不可欠であり,近年の化学療法の発展に伴い,集学的治療において薬物療法が担う役割は大きくなってきている。本稿では,化学放射線療法と免疫チェックポイント阻害薬以外の領域の薬物療法として,進行頭頸部癌に対する導入化学療法・緩和的化学療法のエビデンスについて概説する。
